I got this great apple with leaves still attached from our local butcher shop, it was the only one in the box with leaves so as I only wanted this one I got it for free :)

Home grown Carrots

Some more produce from our garden, these carrots were grown in a big barrel rather that straight in the ground. It is great pulling them out as needed and not not quite knowing what it is like till its out.

Here is my second rose painting, they were a bit more open than the first rose bud, setting this one up took a while the roses kept on slipping around from where I had placed them, all I can say is thank you blu tac!

I hope no one is getting bored with clementines yet! as I paint directly from life I have to paint things as they are available, I am sure clementines with leaves will be hard to get hold of soon so I am making the most of them.

I used to make these button tree acrylic paintings a few years ago, and this is the first one since I began oil painting. whilst sorting out stuff last month I found I had so many canvases that I do not use with oils so I thought I should start doing something with them and I have thousands of buttons! so here is the first button tree of 2013. I will be listing another one tomorrow night :)

This Apple is from our garden, its so nice to just go down the garden and pick one to paint, I don't think I painted any apples from this tree last year, as far as I can remember they didn't look so good last year!
I must thank my Dad for growing so much great stuff for me to paint :)
