Here is my latest avocado painting, I have enjoyed painting avocados recently, I don't paint them very often. The little tomato is from our greenhouse, lots more tomatoes are becoming ripe so expect more tomato paintings!

It must be about a year since I last painted an Avocado, so this was a nice change. I totaly smothered the avocado in lemon juice before this painting and the colour stayed ok until the end, but I did paint quite quickly.
I also got a pair of small avocado paintings done, I will list them soon.

Daily painting #52
Avocado with Red Grapes

Some more Grapes for today's painting, this time with half an Avocado, the other half of it is out of view but it was propping this side up. I have to be fairly quick painting Avocados as they discolour so quickly, I smothered this half in lemon juice and it was ok.
Today I have also been working on a painting for this weeks challenge from Dailypaintworks.com, the challenge is to paint something with reflections, I am painting a silver goblet with plums. I will post a pic asap.

Daily painting #29
Avocado halves

I know I painted Avocado yesterday, but as I am painting these daily paintings from life and not from photo's, I had to paint it again before it went too discoloured, I totally smothered these halves in lemon juice so they kept ok for me to paint this morning.
I will be spending tomorrow priming more boards ready for the next few weeks, so I will be listing my next painting on Ebay on Sunday.
